Outstanding performance binoculars from Visionary. The Visionary U2 binoculars have a body upgrade from the older “U” model. These feature some of the best edge of field quality I have seen in a pair of 30mm binoculars. By not including such features as nitrogen waterproofing and twist eye cups, it means you are getting top quality binoculars for an affordable price.
Handling is easy. They feel comfortable and well balanced. The focus wheel is silky smooth in operation. The dioptre adjustment stays in place once set.
Colours and contrast are excellent in varying light conditions. Whilst testing on a dull day, I could easily pick out detail in the foliage shadows. Despite being 10x they were easy to hand hold for long periods.
If quality of optics is more important than waterproofing and other added benefits, then you can,t go far wrong with the Visionary U2 10×30 binoculars
