Olivon TR-150 tripod (leg section) review

Today was my first chance to check the build quality of the Olivon TR-150 tripod (leg section). Before opening the box, I got my first surprise. Feels much more heavy (a good thing) than I was expecting.  Opening the box reveals a functional carry case.

Taking the tripod out, it feels like a quality piece of kit.  The leg sections are smooth to operate, and click nicely into position.  A foam grip on one leg is a handy addition.  Once fully opened, and the central spacers are locked, it feels very solid.

It is quoted as taking a load up to 8kg, so should be fine (with a good tripod head) to accept many scopes up to 100mm. The wind up column was silky smooth. I found it a little stiffer on the way down, but I,m sure this would improve with use

Available as a tripod only or complete with TRH-10 head
